Sería una buena idea adquirir el bono turístico para visitar los lugares más importante como son la Mezquita Cristo de la luz, la Sinagoga Santa María la Blanca, la Catedral, el Museo-Parroquia Santo Tome donde se encuentra "El Entierro del Señor de Orgaz" obra del Greco, la Iglesia del Salvador, la Iglesia de los Jesuitas, el Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes. También tener en cuenta los paseos nocturnos y visitas guiadas para conocer el Toledo Oculto y Mágico. Un opción estupenda!!

Una propuesta innovadora para solucionar el problema de las mascotas y los sillones. El diseñador coreano Seungji Mun, ha creado "Dog House Sofa" (Sofá casa de perro). Es un mueble funcional para pequeños perros (pequeñas mascotas) y sus dueños. A un lado del sofá hay una casa de perro escondida. La parte superior de madera puede ser utilizada como mesa. Este diseñador también diseñó "Cat tunnel sofa" (Sofá túnel de gato). Me ha dejado asombrada! / An innovative approach to solve the problem of pets and the couches. Día de Muertos, México: La Catrina

 

Me fascina la celebración del Día de Muertos en México el 1 y 2 de Noviembre. Es una tradición prehispánica que coincide con el Día de Todos los Santos o el Día de Difuntos de la religión católica.

Entre todos los símbolos de esta tradicional celebración, pan de muerto, el papel picado, las calaveras de azúcar, de amaranto y chocolate, las flores de cempasúchitl o de cresta de gallo, preparar altares y ofrendas a las almas de los que ya no están. Es la figura de La Catrina, la que me parece mas interesante y me encanta. Se ha convertido en la imagen de la Gran Dama de la Muerte que convida al banquete de la vida, nos recuerda que la vida es aquí y ahora, y eternamente... es decir el placer de la vida a la espera de la llegada de la muerte. Su nombre original fue "La Calavera Garbancera" fue creada por José Guadalupe Posada, como una crítica hacía aquellos que teniendo sangre indígena pretendían ser europeos. Más tarde Diego Rivera plasmó la imagen de La Catrina en el centro del mural "Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda Central" que se encuentra expuesta actualmente en el Museo Mural Diego Rivera (México D.F.). La Catrina se ha convertido en un personaje del folclore mexicano. En 2010 Catrina cumplió 100 años de haber sido creada y se realizó un cortometraje "La Catrina en trajinera".

Picasso: From NY to Malaga
