Portugal : Sintra (Part. 2)

Sintra es destino obligado cuando visitas Portugal. Sintra está a unos 30 Km. de Lisboa. Si te alojas en Lisboa la forma más cómoda de llegar hasta Sintra es coger el tren en las estaciones de Rossio o Entrecampos. En Sintra hay muchísimas cosas que ver: / Sintra is a must when you visit Portugal. Sintra is about 30 km from Lisbon. If you stay at hotel in Lisbon, the easiest way to get to Sintra is taken the train in stations Rossio or Entrecampos. In Sintra there is plenty to visit:

- Palacio Nacional de Queluz, en la comarca de Sintra, se encuentra uno de los magníficos palacios de Portugal, que podría ser el Versalles portugués. No se pueden hacer fotos dentro, enorme y muy bien cuidado. / National Palace of Queluz, in the region of Sintra is one of the magnificent Portugal palaces, which could be the Portuguese Versailles. You can not take pictures inside, it is huge and very well kept.

 

- Convento dos capuchos o Convento de los Capuchinos, a unos 8 Km. de la ciudad de Sintra, es un lugar en ruinas pero que aún conserva su lado místico. / Convento dos capuchos or Monastery of the Capuchins, about 8 km from the town of Sintra, it is a place in ruins but still retains its mystical side.

 

- Palacio da Pena o Palacio Nacional de la Peña, desde el centro de Sintra, tienes que coger el autobús 434 o coche para llegar a los jardines del palacio por un camino de adoquines, a través del bosque. En las inmediaciones del palacio hay un trenecito que te lleva hasta la misma puerta. Es impresionante por fuera, por sus dimensiones, por su colorido, porque parece sacado de un cuento. Tiene un precioso mirador. Al instante quieres entrar. En el interior no se pueden hacer fotos y todas las habitaciones están decoradas estilo años 20, con todo tipo de objetos cotidianos, como si los últimos reyes de Portugal se acabases de ir de allí. / Palacio da Pena or National Palace of Rock , from the downtown of Sintra, you have to take bus 434 or by car to reaching the palace by a cobbled road through the forest. In the vicinity of the palace is a small train that it takes you to the door. It is impressive from the outside, for its size, its color, it looks like something out of a story. It has a beautiful viewpoint. At that moment you want to enter. Inside you can not take pictures and all rooms are decorated in 20's style, with all sorts of everyday objects, like the last kings of Portugal had just finished to go out  from there.

 

- Castelo dos mouros o Castillo de Sintra, a las afueras de la ciudad de Sintra, encuentras este castillo medieval en ruinas con unas vistas increíbles a Sintra y al Palacio da Pena. / Castelo dos mouros or Sintra Castle, just outside the town of Sintra, you find the ruined medieval castle with amazing views to Sintra and the Palacio da Pena.

 

- Palacio da Vila o Palacio Nacional de Sintra en el centro de Sintra, tiene una decoración y unas dimensiones únicas. Aglutina arquitectura medieval, gótica, manuelina y renacentista. / Palacio da Vila or Sintra National Palace in the downtown of Sintra, it has a unique decoration and huge dimensions. It brings together medieval architecture, Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance.

 

- Palacio de Seteais, es uno de los más importantes de Portugal, actualmente reconvertido en Hotel en el centro de Sintra. / Seteais Palace is one of the most important in Portugal, now it converted into a hotel in the downtown of Sintra.
